7 Habits That Damage Hair Health

The quality and strength of our hair has to do with how we care for ourselves both internally and externally. Although genetics and health issues are directly related to the health of your hair, most things you may do with your daily routine harm your hair. We ‘re talking about 7 bad habits that damage your hair.

1.Eating Habits

A balanced diet can help to keep your hair shiny and strong. You could see the effects on your hair if you don’t have enough nutrients from food.

Vitamin E

You have to integrate organic, natural foods rich in protein, vitamin E and iron into your diet to ensure your healthy hair. Also you need trace mineral-rich foods such as zinc and copper. Don’t survive junk food and prevent a serious crash or fading diet because nutritional deficiencies can result in hair loss, thinner, dull and deterioration of the hair.

2- Smoking and Alcohol Habits

Excessive smoking and alcohol cause hair loss. Alcohol affects oestrogen levels and zinc levels in the body thus influencing hair growth. Tobacco causes hair loss in two ways — by blood circulation and nutrient circulation in the body. It is also very harmful to hair when inhaling pollutants like nicotine and carbon monoxide.

3- Drying Habits

After getting out of the shower, people tend to leave their hair in the towel for like 30 minutes. A cotton-based towel causes hair friction and is more likely to damage the hair so as to break the hair. The best thing for the health of your hair is to make it air-dry before blow-drying

Drying Hair

Most people are wrong to start blowing from the back of their head. You usually start on the back and when you reach the top and the head, your hair has dried up and it is more difficult to get smooth. It is better to begin with the temples, hairline, and crown then move to the nape.

4- Psychological Habits

Most people play with their hair. The habit is usually harmless, but it can sometimes be a serious condition called trichotillomania-a self-inflicted loss of hair where twiddling has reached the stage of pulling. Pulling your hair out can cause thin or bald patches that can cover a large area, depending on the severity of the condition.

5- Washing Habits

Many people use shampoos for roots and lather and use an extra shampoo for the rest of their hair.Instead, apply shampoo to the scalp and massage into a lather. Work down the product to the ends without adding an extra shampoo. Washing your hair with hot water helps it cleaning but this habit damages your hair. When exposed to hot water, your hair can become much more resilient than it actually should be. It can make your hair easy to break.

6- Hair- Brushing Habits

Brushing too much is harmful for your hair. Usually three or four strokes are enough to remove knots or repair your style. The more you brush the more harm you may have to your hair. If you’re just brushing the ends, it is a mistake.Because the natural oils of your scalp are an excellent conditioner. Brushing your hair totally takes your locks to natural beauty.

7- Other Habits

Wearing hair too tight in a ponytail can be damaging to hairline, edges of hair, and bottom section of hair. Breakage can occur in all these areas. Too much tension can cause unnecessary stress. Not drinking enough water is certainly bad for your hair. Drinking at least two liters of water per day will help your hair to grow and grow.

All these habits damage your hair. You can have healthier hair if you change these habits.
